Our very first astronomical excursion!

With a thought that exploring the heavens with kids would be fun, our gang spent an entire evening at Vedhshala, an astronomical observatory and space science interpretation center . The whole idea of learning and talking about stars, satellites and space shuttles excited the kids with curiosity. We saw informative movies, learnt to interpret monthly constellation maps, solved jig-saw puzzles and donned the most admired astronaut suits. By the end of the tour, it was dark outside and the sky absolutely clear so we enjoyed some REAL stargazing :)

Jigsaw puzzle is a sure way of acquainting kids to planets!

Learning Constellations aint that easy :(

Ready to float in the space =)
