Conventional Follower vs Wild Dreamer

Was talking to a friend of mine, Akhila Koushik, about cunningness of generations.

Our generation-being cunning to our parents dream and age old wisdom of following conventional path and being successful, over theirs- of not allowing us to choose new ways of making a living in fear of losing oursleves.

This made me think and so the piece below:

Pursuing dreams over  fat payrolls meant sacrificing passion, disturbing peace of mind, ignoring those little voices that keep you alive, choosing stagnation over innovation and killing time instead of living each and every moment to the fullest.

The sheer pressure from friends, family and some of your self-not so adorbale-unwanted-negative and so called practical thoughts, talking to you about the ways to get all the success and money that buys you possessions, favours and yes attention (for sure) leaves you thinking before you dare to choose ur dream job over a conventional utterly respectable job (read so-called).

There are many things which catch your eyes but few that catch your soul - which does not allow you to sleep, makes you restless, which is more admirable than your beloved - your very own Dream, your unborrowed Vision, and the Mission you need to thrive ON!

There is just one life to live, so DARE to live your DREAMS :)

DREAM A DREAM!
GO OUT AND LIVE THAT DREAM!

  4. Rushla, its about following ur dreams :)
I opened the discussion xplaining the perspectives of youth and parents in order to justify that I respect the parents perspective but at the end of the day it is the person himself who has to protect n live his dream.so any individual should follow his dreams without allowing nebody to interfere in his freedom of making choices :) but keeing in mind their own n their parents respect n dignity ofcourse!
