Story telling and some drawing!!!

After three years of our journey we are still trying different methods of teaching with our kids to figure out why cant they concentrate and memorize things unlike regular students. A wonderful friend from CEPT,Richa and her friend introduced 'story telling 'method to check the concentration and interest level of our kids. It was a beautiful experience. Mohan, who cannot concentrate for even 5 minutes was attentive throughout the story sharing session and could answer a few questions from the story when asked later.Yepiee!

We had amazing gang of volunteers from Nirma University last week!They tried sketching and colouring with crayons! Bang!!!Again the kids were completely into the activity and werent much distracted throughtout! Later they explained their drawings.It indeed helped them boost their confidence levels.

Its just amazing to see how organically the seeds of love, trust and sharing are sown in kids through this journey and how ripples are spread through the volunteers who selflessly wit purest intentions give themselves in entirety for those four hours!
