Superfun with Amitabh Bachan!

Our kids always address Amitabh as Amitabh Bachan and are his big fan!They listen to him sincerely, follow his style and love him selflessly :) Since the kids come from a community where they have an easy access to tobacco and alcohol and since most of the families are uneducated and some have dysfunctional families and lack awarness to lead a healthy peaceful life, Amitabhbhaiya in his own style shared a beautiful story that addressed all the prevailing problems in their community and offered simple solutions to them. He told them a story that centered around a heroic character,Raju,who eventually falls in trap of a vilan and eventually destroys his life but later how he listens to his inner voice and comes out strong and successful. He then made them write 3 things they loved about their parents and asked them to share the same with us. This exercise helped kids think good about their family and develop trust towards and respect for their families.Beautiful things were shared in the circle which we never thought of. i always thought kids came from harsh environment,they don't recieve much love as privileged kids but this exercise changed my perception towards their community, not totally though. We then started a spiderclub for kids! To be a part of this special club you need to do special acts: you need to stay cleean, stay away from vices, do random act of kindness for family, friends and community once a week and jot them in a journal! After relishing the yummy delicious icecream Amitabhbhaiya had got for them, kiddies embraced him with a group hug and bade him a good bye!
