In order to express our gratitude to the volunteers who had visited our project (to teach dance to the kiddies for talent hunt), we thought of gifting them message cards (which typically contains kindness and love quotes made by our regular friends at the project). But this was to be done anonymously!
So we gave the message card to the youngest kid and asked him to gift it to one of the ‘SIRs’ who taught them dance. We explained him that he is not supposed to let him know who passed the message card.
Bhavesh, our naught kid with his usual big broad smile went and gifted the beautiful message card saying ‘Thank you, Sir’. He read the message card which quoted ‘One life to live, live it beautifully’. The volunteer who received the card was surprised at the way the kid expressed his gratitude on behalf of his colleagues.
After the practice, during circle of sharing, the person who received the card, expressed how this small yet sweet gesture moved him :)
