Today the kids had a different reason to be happy. There was a group of college students who had visited the project to screen the kids for the talent hunt in their college.
While the kids were dancing I was observing them in silence. It was wonderful to see how effortlessly the kids shifted from – ‘Me to We’, through dancing. The kids were no more thinking about themselves. There were no inhibitions. They were connected to the volunteers who were teaching the dance.
Even the shiest of kids had opened up and danced his heart out. There was pleasantness and harmony in the moment. It was a powerful exchange of energies, love and creativity which flowed through dance.
